Bubbling Over: Soda Consumption and Its Link to Obesity in California

FOR RELEASE ON THURSDAY, SEPT. 17, 2009

Key among the findings reported in their study, Bubbling Over: Soda Consumption and Its Link to Obesity in California, is the discovery that adults who drink a soda or more per day are 27 percent more likely to be overweight than those who abstain, regardless of income or ethnicity.
